We Will Survive

It happened here, who would have guessed,
This nation so supreme;
It happened here, on our fair land,
And we cannot escape the scene.

 The buildings great, came down to earth,
The cost of lives was high;
The smoke of terror quickly rose
And hid our peaceful sky.

 No man can number the tears that fell
From loved ones' eyes that day;
The hearts that cried, as thousands died,
Mommys & Daddys were taken away.

 Will we survive?....You know we will
We stumble, but we do not fall,
For we are still America...
...The greatest land of all!

 We did not come to be, you see
(This land where heroes trod)
By man's design, or mortal strength,
We are ONE NATION UNDER GOD!!
